About Us

History
It has been our pleasure at Barker Chiropractic to have served the Santee community since 1981. Our goal is to educate, inspire and help heal our patients and those in our surrounding communities through natural chiropractic care. Our purpose is to be the premier center of optimal health, function and wellness serving all of San Diego County. Through up to date education and services, we strive to create happier, healthier, and better functioning members of society.

Our Philosophy
At Barker Chiropractic, our approach to health is uncomplicated. We are dedicated and focused on subluxation prevention, detection and correction. We understand that the best possible health expression and wellbeing is found by relieving any stress or interference on the nervous system.

Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to educate, assess and specifically adjust the spines of all the members in our communities including adults, children, co-workers and loved ones. We are dedicated to empowering our patients to make informed healthcare decisions and understand the importance of pediatric and family wellness.

Our Vision Statement
Our vision is to provide the best specific chiropractic care and education to our community and beyond. We also strive to be a trusted destination for natural healing and a healthy lifestyle. We envision our neighborhoods full of healthy and happy people that understand the importance of their spine and central nervous system and the direct effects subluxations have on overall health and wellness.

Our Values
Education: To provide the best and most current information possible to each patient to make informed decisions for all aspects of their healthcare.

Commitment: To diligently provide the best possible chiropractic care to each patient with continued education and the most current evidence-based literature.

Passion and Love: To share the passion and love for chiropractic and its profound effects on the human body. To love each patient and treat them with kindness, respect, and consideration.

Being Proactive Rather Than Reactive: Understanding that the significance of preventing disease is more effective than attempting to treat only the symptoms.

Responsibility: Taking responsibility as a patient is a necessary step for improving health. Responsibility with pre-scheduled appointments, scheduled or auto-payments, prescribed at-home rehabilitation and exercises, any nutritional advice, and more.
